Picture a world famous surgeon. Absolutely everybody has heard of this talented individual. She’s performed countless surgeries, saved so many lives. She’s renowned the world over for being a miracle worker. Now imagine she achieved this notable status while constantly making obvious mistakes with the scalpel.
Would that happen?
Single handedly the best web design conference of 2009…
Seriously, I mean that. Who’d have thought that Belfast would be holding one of the most prestigious and kick ass conferences of the year? Every single aspect of Buildconf last week was absolutely perfect.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Dustin Curtis, Jason Santa Maria and Gregory Wood, I am in the process of creating my own ‘blogazine‘. Each post on it will have it’s own custom design, based upon the content.
Here’s a sneak preview of the design so far:

I’m working on my first article and finalizing the blogazine’s design at the minute but you can follow me to find out when it launches.

Without much fanfare, a sneaky little redesign appeared at I Am Paddy in the dead of night. In my Live creation process blog posts: Inspiration and Sketching, something quite different was forming, but the blog your looking at now is becoming a thing of the past. I’ve got something far more interesting than a regular blog in the works, but I needed to replace this blog with a simpler design.
I did a lot of quick slashing of the content, links and widgets from the old site, which were dragging the site down and making it look so so messy. Simplicity is key for this site and I wanted to keep it at the bare minimum. There’s still a few bugs here and there as I haven’t been over all my old blog posts to see how they’re holding up, but that should be fixed soon.
