Nice post Paddy, ever since Murdoch in the A-Team, I always wanted one of those Jet Packs. Shame my graduate overdraft won’t cover it. ;-)

@Pav Well when you take all the ‘world is going to end’ notions, global warming, oil dependency etc. What else is going to save the world but good design?
Politics is certainly not going to do it.
When someone comes up with the car that runs on water or the machine that converts soil to food, then there may be some hope for us. Although design is a double sided coin. Men designed cars, drilling equipment, nuclear bombs so design can also destroy the world.
Perhaps a better t-shirt would be ‘Nothing will save the world’. Although that’s a bit pessimistic for me :)

Very well done, I’ve always loved the way bonsai tree’s looked, so neat. I thought the bonsai’s came from japan as well never knew they were from china.
